Burning questions about COVID vaccination - controversially discussed Who has priority in the distribution of a possible COVID vaccination? Are we allowed to speed up the approval process for potential vaccines - and what does that even mean? Should we get vaccinated against the flu this winter? This evening we will discuss burning, socially relevant questions that arise in the context of the current pandemic.

Where do we stand in the development of a vaccine against COVID-19? How does a vaccination actually work? What quality criteria must a vaccine fulfil? In view of the current pandemic, these questions are omnipresent - and yet the connections are often not clear. This evening you will learn the medical basics of vaccination and get a direct insight into the current vaccination research at ETH.
The Bachelor Human medicine at ETH Zurich becomes definitive
For three years now, students at ETH Zurich have been able to study medicine up to Bachelor level. What began as a project is now being definitively introduced by the university. The first results show that most students want to stay in medicine and switch to a partner university for the Master's degree.

Cooperation agreement: ETH Zurich and KSB intensify collaboration ETH Zurich is strengthening its presence on the healthcare campus of Kantonsspital Baden (KSB). It will move into two floors with a total of 1600 square metres of space in Partnerhaus II, the construction of which is scheduled to begin in 2021. The two institutions have signed the cooperation agreement "Clinical Research ETH@KSB" to further deepen academic collaboration.
